Paliku, Hawaii // photo + cinema

Jas and Alec’s wedding at Paliku Gardens felt like stepping into a living painting. The Koʻolau mountains rose behind them, Mokoliʻi Island floated on the horizon, and the Pacific stretched wide below. It was the kind of day that felt both timeless and alive.

Their celebration moved with ease. They exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends, then carried that energy into a reception filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and a dance floor that didn’t slow down. Every moment felt intentional and full of connection.

This is why I believe in telling a story through both photo and video. Photographs preserve the stillness of the day. The tender glances, the proud smile of a parent, the natural beauty of Paliku Gardens. Film brings the story into motion. The sound of vows spoken, the breeze through the trees, the way the crowd held its breath right before they were announced as married. Together they create something bigger than documentation. They create a way to step back into the feeling of the day.

Why We Loved This Wedding

Jas and Alec’s Paliku Gardens wedding was filled with so much heart. The views alone are unforgettable, but what made the day truly special was how calm and present they were able to be with each other. Even when the schedule shifted and things started running tight before the ceremony, we worked out the kinks so nothing meaningful was missed.
